Animal planet goes wild
Ok, I had to share this.
We all know Animal Planet, nice channel to spend some time learning how monkeys steal or something…well, the thing is they changed their logo. And man, it is ugly. I tried to find a meaning (and they really had a lot of things to play with, I mean come on, animals!) but found nothing.
Does anybody see anything that would explain such a horrible change? Or is it simply a bad, bad logo?

with a little imagination the flipped over M could look like a crocodile.. But its still a bad, bad logo..

man, I’m so glad you said something. IT’S HORRIBLE. They’ve got a lot of great programming, but that logo – which of course never leaves the screen – is abysmal. I don’t understand why they flipped the M. It was never explained and it’s giving me a headache.

Oh, don’t expect any explanation, it’s just horrible and that’s it hehe .I really tried to find animals hidden in there, but there’s nothing, just bad typography work, no relation with the content of the channel…Plus, I gotta say I loved the previous logo!I’ll sure start showing more design related stuff on this blog as I find it really interesting.Thanks for visiting!

Folks, We just have to congratulate the team that made possible the selling of such inexplicable, out of balance and ugly logo Or maybe wonder that the desicion maker of animal planet graphics department ( who’ maybe 150 years old) let his 72 year old son play with powerpoint letters and do that ugly and not even student like logo!! Gsus!
