MOYA: Vienna

Sometimes it’s the copy which make the ad, sometimes the typography, sometimes it’s the colours used, but equally, sometimes it’s the image itself that really makes it work. Case in point, the Museum Of Young Art (MOYA), in Vienna’s most recent print adverts featuring a few famous faces. Well, kind of…Liked this ad a lot, the way it’s fairly subtle and quite amusing at the same time, should you have picked up on who the images are portraying, which those in the museum’s target audience will of course. Other clever touches are the use of children to highlight the purpose of the museum, the use of black and white photography to add a further arty edge and the typography which gives a modern edge to the print.

The ‘Andy’ execution above is my favourite, although there are another three ‘Pablo’, ‘Joseph’ and ‘Herman’, all of which are striking images. Nice work.
