Mini Cooper
Agency: BBDO, Italy.
A real size fibreglass Mini was attached to a ramp that would move the car up and down creating a Yo-Yo effect.
There’s been some discussion about this ad, as there is no real idea behind it. Yeah, the Mini Cooper is ‘mini’, we all know that, but what’s the point of having it hanging on a giant hand as a Yo-Yo?
Some say it’s just a crappy ad, but I think that when you got all the audience already knowing it’s a great product, you can have fun and do this kind of stuff, which will get stuck in people’s head more than a descriptive boring ad.
That said, this one rocks!
Thank for visiting everyone!

It sounds like a very good ad to me. I don’t see what’s wrong with it.

Excellent blog and thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts here. I am putting together a collection of photos and information on the Mini line up and so far I managed to cover some of the models, and you will find some cool Mini Cooper S photos, Mini Cooper convertible pictures and high resolution Mini Moke photos. I hope you’ll find the website to be interesting, in case you want to pay it a visit.
Enjoy your day!
